De-BrandingDe-Branding - De-branding basically means removing awful operator firmware, and replacing it with the manufacturer's original firmware. Hence converting your phone to the full spec as it was intended by the manufacturer (the way it should be). Once your mobile has been de-branded, you will notice all the menu systems are clearer, un-restricted, and often faster too. We also use the latest firmware to date, which will hold improvements on your old firmware. This often removes any software glitches that your phone previously had. Also some network firmware's prevent you uploading ringtones & pictures via cable, or manually setting your internet homepage, debranding enables you to do this. Most models supported. ![]() FirmwareFirmware Update - Upgrades your phones firmware and sorts out problems such as freezing, phone turning on and off ( when not hardware fault) or just to keep your handset up to date with latest firmware and bug free. Language Change - We can install language packs you require that don't come as standard. Terms and conditions, when you send your mobile phone to phone studio you agree to the following: I am the rightful owner of this mobile phone handset or I act as a third party to have it network unlocked or have the security code reseted. I can confirm that this handset is not stolen or obtained by theft or fraud. I understand that phone studio is not responsible if after having my SIMLOCKS removed I discover my phone is unable to operate on my desired networks due to: A: My phone is 'BLACKLISTED' on the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) due to my IMEI number (International Model Equipment Identification) - being reported lost or stolen; B: My phone has a pre internal hardware fault and is unable to register to any UK network. How is a phone blacklisted? A phone may be blacklisted (or barred) for many different reasons, but the most common reason is that it has been reported lost or stolen! It is only the networks (Orange, T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone etc) that have the facility to blacklist a handset. If you are unfortunate enough to either lose or even worse have your phone stolen you should report it to your service provider (your network) immediately. Your service provider can then blacklist the handset so that it can no longer be used to make or receive any calls. The networks do this by adding your phones serial number onto a national blacklist database Central Equipment Identity Register). Effectively the handset becomes absolutely useless and the thief is in possession paperweight! |
